A YEAR ago, during the trauma of the first lockdown, I watched England win the 1966 World Cup again. The BBC’s pictures and Kenneth Wolstenholme’s commentary were broadcast by Channel 4 to raise funds for the National Emergencies Trust, a charitable cause for those affected by Covid-19 or struggling with the consequences of it.
